Research Use Agreement

1. Permission is granted to view and use the Prostate158 dataset free of charge for personal, non-commercial research purposes only. Any commercial use, sale, or other form of monetization is prohibited.
2. Except for the rights granted herein, the contest organizers and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin (ORGANIZERS)  retain all right, title and interest in and to the Prostate158 dataset.
3. You may make a verbatim copy of the Prostate158 Dataset for personal, non-commercial research purposes as permitted in this Research Use Agreement. If another user within your organization wishes to use the Prostate158 dataset, they must register as an individual user and comply with all terms of this Research Use Agreement.
4. You may not distribute, publish, or reproduce a copy of any or all of the Prostate158 dataset to others without the express prior written permission of the contest ORGANIZERS.
5. You may not disclose the password of download link to the Prostate158 dataset to others. If another individual or group within your organization wishes to participate in the Contest and use the Prostate158 dataset, they must register as a new group or individual and comply with all terms of this Research Use Agreement.
6. You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Prostate158 dataset. You may not remove or modify any copyright or other proprietary notices in the Prostate158 Dataset.
7. The Prostate158 dataset is intended for non-clinical research purposes only. Under no circumstances may data or images generated through the use of the Prostate158 Dataset be used or relied upon for the diagnosis or care of patients.
8. The Prostate158 dataset is provided "as is" and the ORGANIZERS and their collaborators make no warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, nor do they assume any liability or responsibility for the use of this data set by prostate158.
9. You will not attempt to re-identify individual data subjects. Re-identification of individuals is strictly prohibited. Any re-identification of an individual subject shall be reported immediately to the contest organizers.
10. Any violation of this Research Use Agreement or any other unauthorized use shall be grounds for immediate termination of use of this Prostate158 dataset. In the event that the Contest Organizers determine that the Recipient has breached this Research Use Agreement or any other improper use has occurred, the School of Medicine may order the undersigned Data Recipient to immediately return all copies of the Prostate158 Data Set and not retain any copies, even if you did not cause the breach or improper use.
11. In consideration for your agreement to the terms and conditions contained herein, the  ORGANIZERS grant you permission to view and use the Prostate158 dataset for personal, non-commercial research purposes. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise transfer the material.

Limitation of Use

1. You may use Prostate158 dataset for lawful purposes only.
2. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Challenge Organizers from any claims, losses or damages, including attorneys' fees, resulting from your use of the Prostate158 dataset or your violation or role in violation of these Terms. You agree to fully cooperate with the Contest Organizers in defending any such claim. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union.
